What to Expect During Your Nutrition Consultation at RADD CrossFit
Whether your goal is fat loss, muscle gain, better performance, or simply feeling your best every day—our nutrition consultation is designed to give you the clarity and structure you need to move forward with confidence.
Here’s how our process works:
Step 1: InBody Scan with a Coach
We begin with an InBody scan to provide a full body composition breakdown. This gives us valuable data to understand where you are today and where we need to go. The scan measures:
Bodyweight – Total mass of your body.
Skeletal Muscle Mass (SMM) – The amount of muscle attached to bones, important for strength and metabolism.
Lean Body Mass (LBM) – Everything in your body excluding fat (muscles, bones, water, organs).
Body Fat Percentage – The proportion of fat in your body relative to everything else.
Visceral Fat Level – Fat stored around your organs; high levels are associated with health risks.
Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) – The number of calories your body burns at rest.
Step 2: Circumference Measurements & Progress Photos
After the scan, we take waist and hip measurements along with progress photos to help track changes in shape and appearance over time—not just the scale.
Step 3: Review Results & Set Goals
Next, you’ll sit down with your coach to review your InBody results in detail. From there, we’ll ask:
What are your goals?
Whether it's losing fat, gaining muscle, improving energy, or eating more mindfully, this part of the session helps us customize your strategy.
Step 4: Lifestyle & Nutrition Analysis
Your coach will also review your:
Food log – We recommend bringing an honest 3–5 day food log, but we can review your current habits together if needed.
Workout routine – How often you train and the type of training you do.
Water intake, sleep patterns, and stress levels – All of which play a role in body composition and health.
Step 5: Build a Lifestyle Plan
After the consultation, your coach will design a plan tailored to your goals and lifestyle.
This is not a generic meal plan—it’s a lifestyle strategy that may include nutrition targets, habit-building, hydration tips, sleep guidance, and accountability structure.
Step 6: Follow-Up & Ongoing Coaching
A follow-up appointment is included with your consultation. In this session, we’ll:
Celebrate your wins
Talk through any challenges
Decide how often to check in moving forward
This ongoing support is key to building sustainable habits and long-term success.
